Copper Accelerated Acetic Acid Salt Spray is a test method where in a product or coatings resistance to corrosion is evaluated in severe corrosive conditions with extended exposure to a saline or salted spray
This testing is carried out in a closed chamber which is filled fog. The test specimen is exposed to a predetermined time period and inspected during its exposure. This test is carried out to check the integrity of coatings, paints in a corrosive environment. This test is carried out as per ASTM B117-19, ISO 9227:2017, IS 9844-1981.
